Survive! Not even listed as a definition. Liberals wouldn`t understand it. Imagine cutting firewood WITHOUT a chainsaw. - No need for the gym! That`s what they did in the old days! Imagine eating WITHOUT restaurants. That`s what they did in the old days. Imagine digging an entire basement by hand with a shovel? They did that in the 1930`s! Imagine life without cars, roads, screenwire, aluminum, plastic, rubber, fruits [apples and cherries, grapes - certain times of the year], running water, toilets,NO TV, NO radio, electricity, refrigeration. - that`s WHY people read books in the old days. So today, Californians got a taste of the old days when their power went out. Just, without electricity and gasoline your lifestyle instantly crashes BACK to the 1800`s. Fun huh? Hyper-Inflation, Depression, Civil War chaos, plague, Trucker`s strike, Politicians - all can cause a discontinuity of supplies. It`s quite simple to get ready to "survive". A little logical thinking, a little money, and effort is required.
