Konstantinos Konstantinidis Amphiktyon My beautiful Karderina highest sunbeam dynamic Katerina awake, wiry and fine your face like lilies and shine with beautiful capes friendly even in Athens your eyes all sweetness with shadowand those All grace your facewhite swan your necklike pearls your teethand your three children beloved and you a happy mother all caresses I look for flaws but find none You passed through Malea cape As Odysseus's from the fork through stormy Sy mbligades rocks Now you have emerged braver healthy, optimistic and beautiful as you talk Beware of Circe and the Laistrygones Far from the Medusas and the Gorgones You shine like a celestial star You are admired everywhere for what have you done From the slopes of Olympus , may the Muse come down To take you by the hand To the Aegean, may she one day you have found the sunshine You took the beauty of Aphrodite all the time From the three Graces, the nobility Full of action, energy, freshness and capability Don't let the beasts bother your serenity and don't cry The Hellenic spirit will rest you within some time And the Mythology will take you to another world marvelous and fabulous archaic It will give you a special spirituality in mind Successive lives to live until the eternity Parallely don’t turn back the modernity The Olympian gods and goddess will raise you all in splendor In Pnyx, Democracy saw the light In Marathon and Thermopylae,the bravery In Psara and Arcadia, Freedom and Holocoust Our Aphrodite still enslaved With the barbed wire tightly tied Abour a century-old elder sends you a warm wish my age to multiply and surpass Keep "metron the best"(measure), you will be happy from man you will draw love Your dreams to realize and be glorified as you wish Keep your soul pure from matter and hatred No one takes anything where they go because heavy winters are coming wild and terrible as you know , Make charity and donation But do not bend Useless In the end matter, worthless in the Virtue of Socrates the quintessence Wisdom.
