THE SMILING  BOY

 The story is true "the smiling  boy" a close friend of mine told it in Messinia a story full of nostalgia The "smiling  boy" was young, handsome, inventive  and cheerful, resourceful  , virtuous and intelligent, a good student and active in life, studying for a doctorate in America, he was also a great athlete with scientific and athletic awards, he liked jokes and jokes, he would come home and be festive, handsome, he shone like a sapphire, he was loved by acquaintances and friends with his gifts and good deeds, he was beloved in his village and in his family, the Greatest He made progress in America. An upward path, but time brings change. Everything has a cost. And the smiling child became hard as solid steel. A scientist of all kinds works hard, hours of responsibility are exhausting. He reached the top, he made money, but he lost his joy. The smiling child changed his character. As if Circe had hit him with the "jaw". Now he is always thoughtful, frowning, irritable, sullen and distressed. He raises his voice at the slightest thing. He became very aggressive. Everything wrong here bothered him. Compared to America, he takes his sick mother every day, comes and sees her constantly. Don't sit in a dialogue with him. Like a nutcracker, his will always break you. He passed by, a screamer, because he has a beautiful voice. He loves Greece and as he sees it, it hurts him. Fools, liars, thieves, parliamentarians, with few exceptions, and the citizens of the system are exploiters. A state that does not trust its citizens. And the citizen steals from the state and strips it. Don't expect progress and kindness. He gets angry if you blame America. But lately he has been dragging it into it too. The laughing child, now in a responsible and high position, is incompromising. He criticizes as if his soul were hurting. And when the departure approaches, the volcano erupts. He looks psychologically alienated, tired and irritated. His beautiful character has changed drastically. If you tell him that, he will react. It will be difficult to find anything to torment him and him. The modern Circe in the USA we live in magically waters their free thought AI regulates it their personality crushes it The laughing child has changed Odysseus' companions Circe has mutated him And when he comes here it looks like he is suffering His logic there, his soul here He feels like a fish out of water the sun, the good weather, the sea and the mountain our character bothers them the demonstrative? Greece has forgotten its children for the illegal immigrant and has a ministry that takes care of him. A global celebration for Global Hellenism has not been established. Greeks gather in our common home with the lyre of Unity. Time is constantly emptying our hourglass. Our Greece is our great mother, Eternal, and all Greeks are children of Zeus (1/11/25) (any resemblance has no relation to any other  person)
