All my accomplishments in life since high school were way above anything blacks did; And I`m just an average WHITE MAN who excells in Philosophy and some other things.
Home building, design; self-taught. Welding and music; took lessons. Auto restoration; some lessons. Engines, mechanics, precision machinists; self taught. Philosophy, economics; studied books but self-taught. Surfing? Self-taught. Trucking Business; self-taught. Spanish Flamenco and classical guitar and saxaphone; took lessons. Small example; So You want to learn to play Rock N Roll guitar? Start learning this. It`s the basics for lead guitar like Eric Clapton, Carl Wilson, B B King, Jeff Beck, etc. Simply a minor 7th scale in the key of G, but still Rock N Roll for 65 years.
Then learn which notes to Bend and harmonize. You are off and running!
