TRHaber: "TCG Anadolu will drive the Greeks crazy"

The domestic amphibious operations helicopter carrier TCG Anadolu will move between Crete and Libyan territorial waters in the next period, according to the TRHaber network.
The publication, with the provocative title: "The first mission of the TCG Anadolu is announced that will drive Greece crazy", states that after the helicopter carrier has officially joined the force of the Naval Forces Command, it is expected to carry out its first mission in 2023.
TCG Anadolu can transport a combat force of 1,000 people to the desired point thousands of kilometres away. Speaking to TRT, Erdogan stated that: "Turkey is in contact with both the Spanish and the British for the construction of a double - in size - vessel."
TRHaber discussed with a retired colonel about this development.
“TCG Anadolu's first mission may be the area between Crete and Libyan territorial waters. The most critical point of the 'Blue Homeland,' stated the analyst, repeating an earlier similar position.
"There is incorrect and false information in the press that TCG ANADOLU cannot go out to the Aegean. No, gentlemen, it can also go out in the Aegean and it goes everywhere," he continued.
"But because the continental shelf in the Aegean and the distance between the islands is close, I as a military man would not use it in the Aegean. Instead, if it were me, I would keep it in a strategic position in the south of Crete, from where it will be able to intervene in the Aegean, and in the Eastern Mediterranean and in Africa," he said last January, speaking to Haber Turk.
