Advice for Brits;
If you feel vulnerable based on the rotten oppressive
weapons laws in Britain or elsewhere;

- there are things you can do. A "baseball bat" or steel fireplace poker can be used as a weapon. A sharpened lawn mower blade. If you can`t find suitable knives, you can make them from old SAW BLADES with a carbide cut-off grinding wheel on a grinder Here is How; I copied the U.S. Marine Corp. classic "killer" just for fun with this project; Using an old quality saw blade, used hammer handle, and scrap steel turned to correct shape. The resulting knife is very strong and even lighter than the Marine Corp original.
Blade length; 7", width; 1 1/4", handle length; 4 1/2", overall length; 12 3/8". With smaller saw blades you could down size somewhat and still have a lethal self-defense knife. Sharpened lawnmower blade simply looks like lawn mower parts until it`s used as a weapon. Double axe; I`ve got one. Careful! It`s even dangerous to the user!

How about a 12 gauge shotgun "zip gun"? 12 gauge shotgun blast will stop and kill anyone at close range.

Use STEEL Pipe for the actual barrel and sleeve. Make it 26" long and use a sleeve of larger pipe for where the hands are held for more protection. Watch it in action at the above link.

THIS old "Halberd" Medieval weapon might surprise the enemy! Someone with steel fabrication tools can easily make a similar unit;
