You buy canned chili - your favorite. THEN you pour your canned chili into a pot of cooked pinto beans, about 8 - 10 times as much and add salt maybe pepper and stir it up well. Then the whole pot of beans tastes like the chili! Fun huh? I`ve actually done this so I know it works. Cheap Chili! Another one; You buy those frozen Enchaladas and thaw them out and cut them into about 8 - 10 pieces. Seperate them and refreeze. Later thaw one out and wrap it with a flour tortilla - add cheese, hot sauce, maybe onion, then microwave cook. You get meals for about $1.50 each. You can do the same with frozen hamburgers and turkey; Microwave to cook then wrap the meat in bread to make a quick sandwich meal. I`ve got a sweet tooth and like chocolate. So I bought a pale of Honey to store away, because Honey lasts forever. Microwave an egg for breakfast; One egg takes one minute,2 takes two minutes. Add the toast and there is breakfast. Cooked Millet is a substitute for oatmeal. You buy 50 pound bags from Honeyville Bulk Foods or local health food store. You can open the can of beans, and eat them straight out of the can, or warm them up, while the bagged beans have to be cooked for hours. So, are bagged beans better? You are very smart on these subjects, so I wanted to ask your opinion. Thanks very much.
