Subject: Re; Gun Nitpicking; You just reminded me to mention the newer .40 caliber. Police are going for them. Just slightly bigger than the 9mm and slightly smaller than the .45. But if you use expanding Hollowpoint 9 mm. then the difference is minute. Browning High Power automatics now come in .40 caliber. My guess is 9mm. would be cheaper ammunition and more plentiful. .45 is heavier, thus more impact. My gun choices are Browning "High Power" in either caliber, or the new Remington R1 or traditional Colt 1911 MK4 in .45. I`ve owned both for decades and they are absolute TOPS in quality. Close your eyes and spend the extra money for the best! Choose; Smaller hands? The Browning. Bigger hands? The Colt. Both are comfy to shoot. Be sure you get the Pachmeyr grip on the Browning; It`s great.
