Bigger stuff; Lawn mower engines, wheel barrows, automotive V8 engines, power tools. Can be repaired but it`s getting more expensive for parts. People tend to think their lawn mower engine has gone bad because it won`t start, but the "innards" are still in good shape! Wheel barrows take abuse especially with hauling concrete and they don`t get washed out. But even that can be fixed with a grinder and a face mask. It`s amazing and sad that so many chevy V8`s are scrapped out when those 305 V8`s are so good and people don`t know. The smaller bores makes them more economical and tougher with more cast iron. Power tools generally just need a new set of brushes or a switch, a power cord, and add lubrication. Briggs&Stratton engines are best on lawn mowers. Try to save it! [Photo;] Under that junk is a good engine to repair and converting to non-computerized, older carburetor and ignition will bring it back to life. I have 3 of them. 2 spares and one in my truck now just doing fine. How many have been scrapped out because they didn`t know what they had?
