Subject: Janet Yellen, still in the Dream World of Academia
{The movie; "The Time
Machine"; Still underground with her fellow Morlocks! That`s alright, YOU
naive Eloi could care less! I can hear Bill Gross; "Ha! With
cheap enough money I can rip everyone off!" The Morlocks still plan to
keep eating you! The FED always needs a master cryptic-obscure
BullShitter to keep everyone`s eyes off that Jew-Bankster 3 card monte
mega-debt-tax game. NEVER talk about TAXES! Or the "Republic"!
Or the "White Race"! Or, what America could have been - the unspoken
Vision, without the Satanic Jew-Warlock-Morlocks. And a Yvette
Mimieux; Always the prize - her genetics getting rarer. Jews destroying that
too. L.}

Macroprudential Mumbo-Jumbo
It is a well known "fact" that if you are in a foreign
country and you cannot speak the language of the land, just speak slower and
louder. Somehow the locals will understand you.
In
economic terms, when you have no understanding as to what the economy is doing,
just resort to big words and obscure concepts. Yellen just offered a
demonstration in her recent speech on Monetary Policy and Financial Stability.
It was with effort that I
forced myself to read that random assembly of words and in the end, I really
have no idea what Yellen meant when she said:
Today I will focus on a key question
spurred by this debate: How should monetary and other policymakers balance
macroprudential approaches and monetary policy in the pursuit of financial
stability?
Yellen is still living in the dream world of academia. Look
at the footnotes of the speech. Take a theory here, take a theory there,
take some big words from other papers and voilà, out comes the new and
improved Fed policy. What on earth is this "balance macroprudential
approach"? Is that some proven monetary policy that is equal or better
than QE?

macro-prudential frown.

Big Ideas From a Master
of the Universe
While
the Feds think they are manipulating the economy, the true masters of the
universe are manipulating the Fed. In the world of interest rates, the
master is undoubtedly Bill Gross of PIMCO. Here is his latest One Big Idea. Gross is always worth
reading because he is always so instructive, on what the world should do for
the benefit of PIMCO.
This Big Idea, the way I see it, is to convince the Fed that the
market is not over valued and the Fed should continue to keep rates low.
Just imagine how detrimental it would be to Gross if rates suddenly
spiked up.
A friend
recently sent me this link about Scientific Misbehavior in Economics that
seems to describe the Fed very well. Sometimes, when the emperor wears no
clothes, and the emperor is Yellen, it may be better if the Fed were less
transparent.
(apologies to all my economist friends)
Bill
Gross, man of big ideas.
